The Elite Choice international promotion is open to all members not residing in the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, who are 21 years or older as of January 17, 2010, and are United Mileage Plus® Premier®, Premier Executive® or 1K® Members (“Members”) as of December 31, 2010. To qualify for the offer, Elite Qualifying Miles (EQM) / Elite Qualifying Segments (EQS) must be earned between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2010, and be posted to the Member’s Mileage Plus account on/before January 14, 2011. The roundtrip air travel provided by United will be ticketed as a Standard award. The necessary number of miles will credited to the winner’s Mileage Plus account and then immediately debited. All tickets issued in conjunction with the Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code-share flights may be used. Grand Prize may not be transferred or assigned except at the sole discretion of the Sweepstakes Entities. Only listed Prize will be awarded and no substitutions, cash equivalents or redemptions will be made, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the advertised prize (or any component thereof) is not available. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any products and services of other participating companies and partners. Reporting and payment of all applicable taxes, fees and/or surcharges, if any, arising out of, or resulting from, acceptance or use of a prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner of that prize. Sponsor expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of the prize awarded. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Sweepstakes Entities will not replace any lost or stolen prize items.

5. Conduct: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules. The Official Rules will be posted at the Sweepstakes website throughout the Promotion and Sweepstakes Entry Period. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Entrants further agree to comply with and be bound by the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be: (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or Sweepstakes or a United Airlines website; (b) violating the Official Rules; (c) violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any United Airlines property or service; or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION OR SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

6. Winner Selection and Notification: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received on or about July 19, 2010, by David C. Tintle & Associates, Inc., East Rutherford, NJ, U.S.A., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified via overnight mail, return receipt requested or other traceable method of delivery. Grand Prize winner will be required to sign, notarize and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release within five (5) days of date of notification. Potential winner's failure to return required documents in a timely manner, or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable, or inability of Sweepstakes Entities to contact the potential winner, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner by random drawing.

7. General Conditions: Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States with venue in East Rutherford, NJ, U.S.A. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By entering, participants: (a) release and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to persons, including death, or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize, participation in this Promotion or Sweepstakes or while traveling to, preparing for or participating in any prize-related activity, and (b) grant to Sponsor the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Sweepstakes. Except where prohibited by law, a winner's acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sweepstakes Entities to use such winner's name, address (city and state/province only), statements, photograph, voice and/or likeness for any advertising and other promotional purposes relating to the Sweepstakes without further compensation, consideration, review or consent.

Limitations of Liability: Sweepstakes Entities assume no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, garbled, or unintelligible entries, or for theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Entities assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any injury or damage to participants or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sweepstakes Entities which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and select the winner from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation.

The first fifty (50) eligible Mileage Plus® members who reach the 250,000 Elite Qualifying Miles (EQM) or 250 Elite Qualifying Segments (EQS) threshold between January 1 – December 31, 2010, will receive:

• 50,000 redeemable miles, which they may opt to have deposited either into their Mileage Plus account OR into the account of another Mileage Plus customer of their choosing. The designated account must belong to a current Mileage Plus member with a valid 11-digit Mileage Plus account number that must be provided at time of reward selection to be eligible for this offer. Miles will be credited to the designated member’s account within two weeks after the selecting member is notified and responds with selection choice. Miles are redeemable miles and do not count toward elite status. A total of 50,000 miles will be awarded through this reward option, into a single account as chosen during reward selection.
• One 2010 1K® status nomination, which may be awarded to a Mileage Plus member of their choosing.  1K status awarded before June 30, 2010, will be valid thru January 31, 2011. 1K status awarded after July 1, 2010, will be valid through January 31, 2012.  Six Systemwide upgrades will be deposited into the nominee’s account at the time of nomination.

To be eligible for this reward, members must be registered for the 2010 Elite Choice program. Members who register after reaching 250,000 EQM or 250 EQS may qualify for this reward, provided that 50 winners have not already been identified at time of registration. Winning customers will be contacted on an individual basis by a member of the Mileage Plus organization for fulfillment of this reward, within 30 days of reaching or surpassing 250,000 EQM or 250 EQS, with first notifications starting on March 15, 2010. Customers may earn this reward a maximum of one time. In the event of a tie for the last reward, the customer with the earliest 2010 Elite Choice registration date will receive the reward.

A total of twelve (12) 2010 Elite Choice registrants, one (1) per month in the 2010 calendar year, will be identified by Mileage Plus® as the customers who, for flights flown in a given month, have earned the most EQM on flights operated by United® and United Express®, defined as the base United flight EQM plus EQM earned from the 50% class of service bonus for flights in United First® (F, A, P), United Business® (C, D, Z) or full-fare United Economy® (Y or B). Travel on United-marketed code-share flights operated by other carriers or on Star Alliance® flights, as well as promotional EQM do not qualify for this reward.

Members must be registered for the 2010 Elite Choice program by the last calendar day of the month in order to be considered for that month’s top United flight EQM bonus reward. Customers should only register once, as they will be considered for this reward in all remaining months in 2010 after their registration date. To be considered for this reward, all flights must be posted by the second day of the month following the earned month of travel. Winning customers will be contacted on an individual basis by a member of the Mileage Plus organization for fulfillment of this reward. January and February winners will be notified by March 15, 2010. March through December winners will be notified within 2 weeks following the reward month. Customers may earn this reward a maximum of one time. In the event of a tie, the customer with the earliest 2010 Elite Choice registration date will receive the reward.

• Each winning member will be awarded two (2) electronic Systemwide Upgrades. Systemwide Upgrades will be credited to the member's account within 2 weeks after member is notified. Systemwide Upgrades are valid for 12 months from the date when they are deposited into a Mileage Plus account. Systemwide Upgrades may be used for a single one-way, one class of service upgrade on select booking classes within Region 1 (United States, Canada, Caribbean, Central America and Mexico), within Region 2 (all other United destinations) or between Region 1 and Region 2. Each Systemwide Upgrade is valid for travel on nonstop or connecting itineraries, up to the first point of stopover.
• Each winning member will also receive one (1) Premier Executive® nomination, which may be applied to the winning member’s account or awarded to another Mileage Plus member of his or her choosing. Premier Executive status awarded before June 30, 2010, will be valid through January 31, 2011. Premier Executive status awarded after July 1, 2010, will be valid through January 31, 2012.
